Work began on the album, originally titled UBER, during 2009, and the album was initially intended to be released during 2010. However, the album has suffered a series of delays; although T-Pain has claimed the album has been completed and mastered, he has rescheduled the album's release date, to reflect his displeasure at generally falling music sales. (Death of Autotune)" would put him off from using Auto-Tune, the vocal pitch correcting technology he has frequently used throughout his previous work, he later confirmed that there would be a higher presence of Auto-Tune on the album, and later revealed he had stopped using the technology permanently and would rather use his own new version of it, called the T-Pain Effect, after leaving Antares Audio Technologies and signing with iZotope and using his very own "I Am T-Pain" microphone. In June 2010, T-Pain confirmed that the album had been completed and mastered, but that it will not be released until album sales increase. T-Pain posted on Twitter stating he would release his PrEVOLVEr mixtape when he gets 500,000 followers and release his album RevolveR when he gets 1,000,000 followers. He released his first single for the album "Best Love Song" with Chris Brown on March 22, 2011, after his three singles "Reverse Cowgirl", "Take Your Shirt Off" and "Rap Song" featuring American rapper Rick Ross did not chart well, releasing them as promotional singles instead. T-Pain stated that after Jay-Z released "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)", the first single from The Blueprint 3, his 2009 album, he would still continue using autotune and release his new album UBER. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, T-Pain confirmed that he was working on a song with singer Kesha and rapper Pitbull to be featured on the album. T-Pain has since renamed the album to RevolveR and expected to release his album in 2010. T-Pain stated that he had to cut many guest spots on the album, calling his last album from 2008, Thr33 Ringz, a possible DJ Khaled album because of all the guest appearances. Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Lily Allen, Pitbull, One Chance, Lil Wayne, Detail and Ne-Yo have all been confirmed features for the album. T-Pain released his highly anticipated prequel to RevolveR on May 4, 2011, with over 30 tracks entitled prEVOLVEr. On October 7, RCA Music Group announced it was disbanding Jive Records along with Arista Records and J Records. With the shutdown, T-Pain will release Revolve? on the RCA Records brand.  On October 17th, 2011, T-Pain unveiled the official artwork for the album via twitter.

We Found Love ft

"We Found Love" is an electro house and dance-pop song. It also displays elements of europop, pop, techno[18] and trance music. Glen Gamboa of Newsday described "We Found Love" as being the mainstream version of dubstep. According to the digital music sheet published at musicnotes.com, the song is written in the key of G? major and it is set at a groove of 120 beats per minute. The instrumentation of "We Found Love" consists of alarm bells, a keyboard, repetitive pumped-up synthesizers and 4/4 beats. It also makes use of bleeps, bloops, whoosh noises, electronic loops and complicated rhythms.

Rihanna's vocal range in the song spans one octave, from the lower note of C?4 to the higher note of C?5. Priya Elan of NME commented that Rihanna sounds "extremely relaxed" and Bill Lamb of About.com wrote that her vocals are simple and unaffected. Leah Collins of The Vancouver Sun wrote that Rihanna's vocals on "We Found Love" were similar to her own ones on "Fly". According to Elan, the keyboard work in the song bears resemblance to that in from "Only Girl (In the World)" and the melody is similar to that of "Complicated", a track taken from Rihanna's own 2010 studio album Loud. Similarly, Michael Cragg of The Guardian noted that "We Found Love" is in the same vein as "Only Girl (In the World)", with regard to its dance beat.

"Moves Like Jagger" was written and produced by, Benjamin Levin and Shellback, while additional writing was done by Adam Levine and Ammar Malik. When asked about the song, Levine said, "It was one of those songs that was definitely a risk; it's a bold statement. We've never really released a song like that. But it's exciting to do something different, do something new. I'm just happy everyone likes it." "Moves Like Jagger" is a disco-pop and electropop song with elements of rock and soul. It features a "throbbing" synth, fast-paced beat and electronic drums. Robbie Daw from Idolator wrote that, "Moves Like Jagger" slightly echoes the Rolling Stones’ chart-topping 1978 classic "Miss You", and added that "Levine’s voice is distorted via Auto-Tune on the chorus." The song is introduced by a whistle melody and light, funky guitar in the key of B minor. Levine tries his best to impress his female interest with dance moves like Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger: "I don't need to try to control you / Look into my eyes and I'll own you / With the moves like Jagger / I got the moves like Jagger / I got the mooooooves like Jagger." Aguilera appears mid-way through the song's bridge, playing her role as a tease: "You want to know how to make me smile / Take control, own me just for the night / But if I share my secret / You gonna have to keep it / Nobody else can see this."

On September 28, 2011, Katy Perry tweeted the words "The One That Got Away... It's happening!!!", along with a picture of the official single artwork, via TwitPic. The artwork shows a pink-haired Perry looking up at the sky while wearing a disc-shaped hat. The photo gives a whimsical nod to the 1970s, with its distinctively retro appearance. Amy Sciarretto of PopCrush commented that the artwork shows Perry in a "deep thought and remembering the one that actually did get away from her."

Coldplay initially announced that the single's music video would be directed by Hype Williams (who previously directed the first version of the "Viva la Vida" music video) but that version was scrapped after shooting and the band decided instead to record a new version directed by long-time collaborator Mat Whitecross. The band called Mat just a day before the shooting and the video's concept was finished just hours before the director traveled from London to South Africa. The band's frontman Chris Martin created the video's concept storyline. The unicycle and elephants suits had to be found in hurry. The suits had to be as lo-fi and spontaneous as possible.[8] The video was released on 19 October 2011. In the video, a man dressed as an elephant (played by Chris Martin) escapes from a zoo in London and attempts to hitch-hike his way to another country (doing so finally by stowing away inside a suitcase). An aerial shot reveals that his initial destination was Cape Town, South Africa. He is then seen wandering around Johannesburg, at one point, walking past Nelson Mandela Bridge and a set of railway tracks in Braamfontein. He then earns enough money (which appears to be ZAR 67.05, roughly equivalent to USD 8.40) for a unicycle by busking on the street, and after a seemingly hopeless wander comes across three other elephants (the rest of Coldplay) playing the song in the veld (South African grasslands). The video shifts to the band playing a live show at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg before returning to the desert where they run towards the camera. The music video was shot on location in London, Cape Town, the Klein Karoo in the Western Cape and Johannesburg.

Someone Like You" was written and produced by Adele and American songwriter and producer Dan Wilson. It was one of the last written for 21. A few months after their split, he had gotten engaged to someone else. "We were so intense I thought we would get married. But that was something he never wanted ...So when I found out he does want that with someone else, it was just the horrible-est feeling ever. But after I wrote it, I felt more at peace. It set me free ... I didn't think it would resonate ... with the world! I'm never gonna write a song like that again. I think that's the song I'll be known for. She also said that "I wrote that song on the end of my bed. I had a cold. I was waiting for my bath to run. I'd found out that he'd got engaged to someone else."

Adele revealed that she was struggling emotionally when she composed it: "When I was writing it I was feeling pretty miserable and pretty lonely, which I guess kind of contradicts 'Rolling in the Deep'. Whereas that was about me saying, 'I'm going to be fine without you', this is me on my knees really." She discussed further the inspiration of the song: "I can imagine being about 40 and looking for him again, only to turn up and find that he's settled with a beautiful wife and beautiful kids and he's completely happy... and I'm still on my own. The song's about that and I'm scared at the thought of that."

As of November 2011, it has sold over 683,000 downloads in the United States according to Nielsen SoundScan. When the song was released in the United States, it re-entered the chart at number 89. So far, the song has peaked at number 21.

In a super marketing move, Sony posted the song on Tamil, Hindi and international Facebook pages and it went on to become a national rage ahead of its launch. Within days, Kolaveri Di song became India's most-searched YouTube video ever, the first Tamil film song to play on MTV India and national radio stations and now entire articles are being written in Indian and international press.

So much so that veteran Hindi actor Amitabh Bachchan also went gaga over the song. It is the latest trending topic on Twitter. It has got millions of hits on YouTube and has spread like wildfire on Facebook.

The Kolaveri Di phenomenon began with young gentleman Anirudh Ravichander and his first ever composition for a Tamil film that has got the entire country jiving to its beats. Director Aishwarya Rajinikanth had wanted a song that emoted failure in love.

The 21-year-old music composer set the tune within 5 minutes and Aishwarya's husband -- actor-cum-singer Dhanush -- started off in broken English, singing in jest. The words and the song were finalised within a record 20 minutes.

The most watched music video has Dhanush singing the song in a recording studio, composer Anirudh at the keyboard and director Aishwarya and co-star Shruti Haasan seen giving suggestions.

The quirky song was a viral hit on the internet immediately after it was put up on YouTube. While the buzz is that the song was leaked, the makers deny it. The song was digitally released by Sony Music on November 16. The song features in the upcoming Tamil Film 3 which is due for release in 2012.

People behind Kolaveri

Even as the song has become a rage, very few know about the people who actually came up with this peppy number. The credit for turning this original promo song for Tamil flick Moonu stays entirely with the four who thought it up, the Kolaveri Di squad.

First in line is the singer of this song, Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, popularly known as Dhanush. This National Award winning 28-year-old is a famous Tollywood actor, married to superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya. It was Dhanush who came up with the Tamil-English mix of lyrics for Kolaveri Di.

For Aishwarya, a trained classical dancer, Moondru would be her first stint as a feature film director. She wanted a fresh and catchy number on love failure, to promote her film so Kolaveri Di was born.

Moondru will see Anirudh Ravichander, the nephew of Rajinikanth and alumni of Loyola College, making his debut as a music director. The young composer started humming the music as soon as Aishwarya came up with an idea of a promo song.

A known face in Hindi and Tamil film industry, Shruti Haasan, is the daughter of the legendary Kamal Haasan. She is the lead actor for Moondru along with Dhanush and was an integral part of the Kolaveri Di crew.

Song of lost love and rage

Kolaveri, a Tamil word, is supposed to mean murderous rage. Giving a pop touch to the song, Dhanush himself calls it a "flop song". The song is a simple cry of a man who has lost out on love and who is asking the love of his life, the reason behind such a "murderous rage".

What adds zing to the song is the conversational style of singing. As all heartbreaks end, the boy resorts to drinking to drown his sorrows.

Finally getting ditched in love a song for soup boys who have failed in love. With every boy and girl having faced at least one heartbreak, this song manages to reach out to one and all leaving everyone asking: why this Kolaveri Di.

Kolaveri Di sweeps Indian television

The entire nation seems to be swinging to Kolaveri Di and the song has become a rage on Indian television too. It has been dominating the airwaves on all music channels and the stars of the small screen cannot get enough of it.
